Līva AB Nord manufactures X-ray blocking doors that provide protection against radiation of various strengths. X-rays that spread in different directions are stopped by a lead plate that is inserted into the door leaves. Depending on the thickness of the lead plate, which is calculated according to the technical requirements, it is possible to make doors of different levels of radiation protection . The door finish can be chosen according to the needs and wishes of the customers. It is possible to choose from veneered, painted or HPL faced  X-ray blocking doors. The radiation-retaining doors made by Līva AB Nord have been installed in several hospitals in Latvia.
